The Centre for Community Resilience and Advocacy Foundation (CCRAF) is committed to empowering women through skill development, livelihood generation, and self-reliance initiatives. Under its Women Empowerment Programme on Tailoring and Stitching, CCRAF provides practical training to women and adolescent girls from marginalized and underserved communities, enabling them to acquire sustainable vocational skills and economic independence.
The initiative focuses on developing professional tailoring, stitching, embroidery, and garment-making skills while also enhancing participants’ confidence, creativity, and entrepreneurial abilities. Through hands-on training sessions, women are encouraged to start home-based enterprises, pursue self-employment opportunities, and contribute to their family income with dignity and confidence.
In addition to skill development, CCRAF also facilitates employment and job opportunities for trained women by connecting them with local production units, boutiques, tailoring centres, and community-based enterprises. The foundation actively supports women in securing sustainable livelihoods and encourages entrepreneurship through mentorship, guidance, and market linkages.
