CCRAF’s work in advocacy, training, and research is grounded in a commitment to evidence-informed, rights-based, and community-responsive social development. These three pillars are integrated to influence practice, strengthen capacities, and inform policy for sustainable impact.
Advocacy
CCRAF undertakes community and policy advocacy to promote mental health, gender equity, child and youth well-being, and access to social protection. By engaging with communities, local institutions, and stakeholders, the Foundation amplifies grassroots voices, promotes rights awareness, and contributes to informed dialogue for inclusive and responsive systems.
Training & Capacity Building
The Foundation designs and delivers structured training programmes for students, educators, women’s collectives, community workers, and institutions. These programmes focus on psycho-education, life skills, mental well-being, leadership, and community resilience, using participatory and context-sensitive methodologies to strengthen individual and institutional capacities.
Research & Knowledge Generation
CCRAF emphasizes research as a foundation for effective action. Through field-based studies, programme documentation, and action research, the Foundation generates insights to inform interventions, improve practice, and support advocacy efforts. Research outputs are used to strengthen evidence-based programming and contribute to academic and policy discourse in the social development sector.
