The Centre for Community Resilience and Advocacy Foundation (CCRAF) advances community development through an integrated approach centred on Advocacy, Training, and Research. The foundation undertakes advocacy initiatives to promote social justice, equity, inclusion, and the protection of the rights of marginalized and vulnerable populations. Through structured training and capacity-building programmes, CCRAF enhances the knowledge, leadership abilities, and life skills of students, youth, women, and community stakeholders to strengthen participatory and sustainable development processes. In addition, CCRAF emphasizes evidence-based research to assess community needs, generate contextual insights, inform policy discourse, and support the design and implementation of effective social interventions. Collectively, these efforts contribute towards strengthening community resilience, institutional capacity, and long-term social transformation.

Many vulnerable communities struggle to access basic needs such as education, healthcare, livelihoods, and social security due to poverty, exclusion, and weak institutional reach. Their concerns often remain unheard in policy processes. Focused, evidence-based research is essential to understand ground realities, identify service gaps, and strengthen advocacy. Research-backed advocacy enables inclusive, rights-based policies and sustainable interventions that genuinely address the needs of marginalized communities.
